Step-by-Step: How to Create Your Order in MyPost
Australia Post’s current flow for online postage labels is to log in to MyPost, choose “Add an order”, complete the shipment details, pay for postage, then print or access the label for lodgement.
1. Sign in or create a free MyPost account
Go to Australia Post MyPost and sign in. If you do not yet have an account, create one first.
2. Start a new order
Inside MyPost, choose “Add an order” and begin filling in the shipment details.
3. Enter the sender details
Use the Salt Space sender details exactly as provided below so the label matches the collection location.
4. Enter the recipient details
Add the delivery name, address, suburb, state, postcode and country exactly as required for the destination.
5. Enter package details
Enter the package type, dimensions and weight. Use the estimated size and weight we provided for your item.
6. Select the postage service
Choose the service that suits you, such as standard or express, based on cost and delivery speed.
7. Pay for postage
Complete payment directly in MyPost. Once paid, your postage label will be generated.
8. Download or print the label
Save the label PDF and upload it to the Salt Space Mail Forwarding Form so we can attach it and lodge the item for you.

Selecting ‘Document’ Correctly
Couriers inspect items before sending and items can be rejected if classified incorrectly.
Document = Paper ONLY
Select Document only when the contents are paper only.
Non-Document = anything other than paper
If the mail includes anything other than paper, including plastic cards such as bank cards, Medicare cards or SIM cards, it must be treated as Non-Document.
International Only – Courier Consent to Open
On collection, couriers may inspect your items before being packaged and sent. This can include opening packages or non-paper mail for inspection.
By submitting an international forwarding request, you acknowledge that inspection may occur where required.

What if the mail contains cards or items, not just paper?

When will Salt Space lodge my Australia Post shipment?
Australia Post shipments are typically dropped off the next business day once your form has been submitted and payment has been received.
Can Salt Space forward my personal mail internationally?
Yes. Salt Space can forward personal mail from our Brisbane location to domestic or international addresses. You organise and pay for postage through Australia Post or a courier and submit the Mail Forwarding Form.
Does Salt Space offer mail collection for individuals?
Yes. Individuals using our Personal Mailing Address or Virtual Office can collect mail in person during staffed hours or request mail forwarding to another address.
How much does personal mail forwarding cost?
